    Visit the City of Goleta Booth at the Lemon Festival this Weekend, September 24 & 25

    Meet & Greet with New Goleta City Manager Robert Nisbet, Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

    While there is a lot to do and see at the return of The Goleta Lemon Festival this weekend, September 24 & 25, at Girsh Park (7050 Phelps Road), we want to see YOU at the City of Goleta Booth.

    There are so many reasons why you need to stop by!

    Free merchandise and giveaways to enjoy!

    • Test your luck and spin the roulette wheel to see if you walk away with some of the 20-year limited edition merchandise.
    • Guess how many lemon drops are in the jar for your chance to win additional prizes.
    • All booth visitors who sign-up for City notifications will be entered into a free drawing to take home a Grand Prize bundle of commemorative City of Goleta 20th Anniversary merchandise.

    Meet your City Staff and get updates on important City Projects!

    • On Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., swing by and meet Goleta’s new City Manager, Robert Nisbet. He is looking forward to connecting with community members.
    • The City’s Environmental Services Team will be there all weekend to hear how community members feel about the City’s creeks and talk to people about the Creek and Watershed Management Plan.
    • Find out how you can get involved in Beautify Goleta events and support clean stormwater.
    • Take home a brand-new library card. The Goleta Valley Library will be there to sign-up new patrons in honor of National Library Card Sign-Up Month.
    • Visitors of all ages can spin the library prize wheel to take bookmarks, stickers, and other library essentials 
    • Join the library team on Sunday to participate in a special Origami Craft – Plant lemon yellow flower seeds and take home 
    • Find out about the latest in-person Library programs, including Storytimes, Writer’s Workshops, and Tech Tutoring, After School Homework Help, and more.

    You can enjoy all of this family-friendly citrus-y fun at the Lemon Festival this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
