There’s some bustle in Magnolia Shopping Center, with the closing of Bennett’s Toys & Educational Materials and the soon-to-come Shalhoob’s in the old Woody’s BBQ location.
The Pad Climbing is coming to the Magnolia in 2023, according to The Pad’s Instagram, opposite Ralph’s Supermarket. According to their website, The Pad offers “a safe, no-pressure, welcoming community of people who love to climb and love to help others do it, too.”
The Pad currently has locations in San Luis Obispo, CA, and Henderson, NV.
