    Frank Troise Launches 2024 Campaign for Santa Barbara County Supervisor, District 3

    Local businessman and community leader Frank Troise announced [on September 26, 2023] his campaign for Santa Barbara County Supervisor, District 3, in the March 2024 election.

    In announcing his campaign, Frank stated, “Santa Barbara County has been my home for over 20 years. I love this community and am running for Supervisor to play my part in preserving it for future generations.” Going on to add, “I will bring real-world experience and new ideas to the county and help solve the pressing challenges facing our community— public safety, homelessness, and climate change. I am confident that with hard work, we can forge a bright future for Santa Barbara County.”

    Frank has had a long and distinguished career in international business and finance. In 1997, Frank founded SoHo Capital and grew the company to one of the nation’s leading wealth management firms working at the apex of technology and finance. Starting as just a small family-run operation, SoHo Capital now has offices around the world and is based here in Santa Barbara County. Most recently, Frank’s company launched a fund specifically designed to invest in climate-related technology based in Goleta.

    During the financial crisis of 2009-2012, Frank served on a bi-partisan county commission to help the Santa Barbara County Employee Retirement System address the looming revenue shortfall. Frank also has held key appointed posts at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Frank received his B.S. in Managerial Economics from Carnegie Mellon University and his MBA in Finance from New York University.

    Frank has lived in the Santa Ynez Valley for the past 20+ years. Originally from New York, he and his wife Mariko raised both of their children, Mina and Spencer, here in the Valley.

    Frank is running for Santa Barbara County Supervisor District 3, representing the communities of Lompoc, the Santa Ynez Valley, and parts of Goleta.
