The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning until 4:45 p.m. Do not attempt to travel unless you are fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order. Avoid roads, creeks and rivers.
The City of Goleta wants to inform the public that Robin Hill Road north of Hollister Avenue is currently closed due to flooding.
Earlier today, a section of Whittier Road west of Storke Road was closed due to flooding. This roadway may continue to be problematic as rain continues. Also closed earlier today was a single lane of Cathedral Oaks Road west of Cambridge Road due to a small slide. Goleta Public Works will continue to monitor that segment of Cathedral Oaks Road.
The City of Goleta wants to remind the community about the importance of not driving through flooded roadways. Be safe.
