Smitty’s Towing opened its doors for business in 1992, realizing there was a need in the Goleta-Santa Barbara area for a dependable towing company that would assist in the trucking and hard-to-handle equipment. The company originated as mainly a heavy-duty towing and recovery facility. By 1993, we started branching out into the quickly growing field of light-duty towing.

In 2011, we added a location serving Buellton, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Los Alamos, and Solvang with full services in light, medium, and heavy-duty towing, including a full inside storage yard. Since our start, we have been delivering the foremost towing and recovery service on the California Central Coast. We provide a variety of services, including towing, transport, emergency recovery, mobile repairs, and truck repair services. We handle the emergency transport of loads across the nation.
