District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced that a central coast man charged with making criminal threats against the Conejo Valley Unified School District was arraigned in Ventura County Superior Court on October 31, 2022.
Randall Earl Graham (DOB 03/07/78) of Goleta entered a plea of not guilty to two counts of making criminal threats with the special allegation of threatening great bodily harm.
On October 13, 2022, Graham is accused of calling the Conejo Valley Unified School District
offices and leaving two voicemails threatening to kill the superintendent and others in the
superintendent’s office. He was arrested on October 15, 2022, by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office after an investigation by the Thousand Oaks Police Department.
Prosecutors have requested the defendant be held without bail throughout the criminal proceedings. He is currently out of custody after posting $20,000 bail. Graham was ordered to stay away and have no contact with the Conejo Valley Unified School District.
The next court date is scheduled for November 2, 2022, to determine if the defendant will be held without bail. An early disposition conference is set for November 9, 2022, and a preliminary hearing is on the calendar for November 14, 2022.
