Goleta’s Community State of the City is almost here! We hope you have the date marked on your calendar in bold! Get your week started right and join us this upcoming Monday, April 10 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge (150 N. Kellogg Avenue). Learn valuable insight on how the City is doing and network with others who love Goleta like you do. Simultaneous Spanish interpretation is available.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Come mingle with the Mayor, Council, City Staff, Goleta stakeholders and community members. Visit City information tables and enjoy light refreshments. Also, for the first time at this event, there will be live music courtesy of talented musician Andrew Manos who started as a music teacher in the Good Land in 2014.
This is also a great time to submit questions for the popular live Q and A section, take photos with our City of Goleta backdrop and purchase Goleta merchandise from the Goleta Valley Historical Society.
The formal program begins at 6:00 p.m. with the Mayor’s 2023 State of the City Address followed by City Manager Robert Nisbet’s financial update. The night ends with the Mayor and Department Directors answering your questions.
