Here’s an ad for the Black Horse Inn from the Daily Nexus, October 20, 1972.
Dinner Menu was comprised of sauerbraten, sirloin kabobs, Black Horse steak sandwich, top sirloin steak, jager schnitzel, sausage dinner, frikadelle and a matterhorn burger. Dinners included choice of soup or salad with bread and butter.
Black Horse’s continental bar served the greatest selection of imported beers (10 on tap) and wine cocktails, reasonably priced lunches and dinners.
The Black Horse Inn was located at 298 Pine Avenue in Goleta. It has since closed and is the current home of La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant.
