In a post to their Twitter account at 8 pm, the Santa Barbara County Education Office announced that “Due to extreme weather conditions, all Santa Barbara County public schools are closed tomorrow, Jan. 10, 2023.”
The tweet goes on to say, “Outside of a mandatory evacuation order, decisions about school closures are made on a school-by-school basis. Private school families, please check with your individual school.”
